🐾 Almost there!! 🐾 Meet Baxter. His original owner passed away, and he ended up with a woman who unfortunately provided no care. Her son eventually convinced her to surrender him to us so he could finally get the help he desperately needed. When Baxter arrived, he was severely matted and hadn’t received any veterinary care. He’s now shaved, vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworm. But he still has a long way to go. His teeth are in terrible shape and he has a painful cherry eye. Right now, our focus is on getting him the dental care he urgently needs. The vet has quoted $1000 for a deep cleaning and the removal of several teeth. Once he recovers, we’ll begin raising funds for his cherry eye surgery. Please consider donating to help us give Baxter a pain-free smile. Every dollar brings him closer to comfort and healing.
