It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our beloved volunteers, Virginia Clark Coffey. Virginia was a dedicated and passionate member of our program, so much so that in 2018, she was honored as our Volunteer of the Year. Virginia brought warmth, joy, and a deep sense of purpose to everything she did. Her love for art, people, and community shone through in every interaction—especially in the way she connected with the children we serve. Her eagerness to show up, listen, and contribute in any way she could made a lasting impact on our program and everyone who knew her. That same spirit of generosity lives on in her daughter, Meredith, who has also played such a vital role in our organization and whose presence reflects Virginia’s enduring legacy. We send out deepest condolences to her friends, family, and loved ones. A Celebration of Life for Virginia will be held on May 23rd at the Bodley-Bullock House in Lexington.
