An Evening of Dialogue, Hope, and Shared Responsibility Syrian Forum USA’s Grants and Partnerships Manager, Eyad Nahhas, joined a roundtable in Mississauga with Syria’s Minister of Disaster Management and Emergency Response, Raed Al-Saleh, who shared: “We have done the impossible, and now we begin with the difficult.” MP Omar Alghabra emphasized Canada’s support for Syrians and urged diaspora engagement in rebuilding Syria. Discussions included Transitional Justice, civil society empowerment, ending displacement, and accountability. Through partnerships and dialogue, our team works to advance critical Syrian voices globally. This event reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration for Syria’s recovery.
