ABIA IS A UNIQUE COLLABORATION OF COMPLEMENTARY RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND HEALTH INSTITUTIONS, I.E. THE FOUNDING MEMBERS, WITH A MISSION TO EXPAND ON AKRON, OHIO'S RICH LEGACY IN MATERIALS SCIENCES BY PIONEERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LIFE-SAVING BIOMEDICAL INNOVATION FOR THE 21ST CENTURY.
