**5/20 Ms. Rosa Update - Sometimes a mower isn't just a mower. Sometimes it's freedom from having to beg folks to let you borrow theirs or even "rent" theirs for $20, when you're only going to use it 15 minutes. Today we put the word out in local groups that Ms. Rosa needed a mower & a wonderful human we have never met before offered his mower up for free. Ms. Rosa was nearly in tears when we unloaded it & she realized it was theirs. Her grandson immediately cranked it & got to work cutting the grass. We stayed for almost 3 hours working while Ms. Rosa (73yrs old) was raking leaves. You know how older southern folks love to keep a "clean" yard so snakes don't "take up" 💙 When we started the PFP back in 2013, we knew we would be helping animals, but what we didn't know is how much we would be helping their humans as well. Today we can't thank Dahc Sheppard enough for his generosity. The full tank of gas for the family was above & beyond thoughtful 🥰 (fb)
