Organizing Black tenants, mental-health patients/providers, and youth. Campaigning for @ObamaCBA, #TreatmentNotTrauma, #CopsOutCPS, and more. Since 2004. We build people power by organizing Black, poor, and working-class community members in Woodlawn, South Shore, Greater Grand Crossing, Park Manor and all adjacent neighborhoods, to secure economic stability and advance human rights. To stop the displacement of low-income and working class blacks from our communities. We develop grassroots leadership to leverage our power to create more equitable and sustainable development.
