NHCOA proudly joined "How We Got Here & What We Do Now: Wisdom and Stories from Silver Pride Legends," an inspiring event that honored the resilience, contributions, and leadership of #LGBTQ+ older adults. 🗣️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ The conversation, moderated by the incredible Empress of Pride, Rayceen Pendarvis, featured three remarkable trailblazers: 🔹Gabrielle Thomas, a community health worker and advocate who has served the LGBTQ+ community for over 30 years. 🔸José Gutiérrez, a longtime LGBTQ+ and immigration advocate and historian. 🔹Cheryl A. Head, an award-winning author and storyteller committed to preserving Black and LGBTQ+ histories. The afternoon was filled with storytelling, historical insight, and meaningful reflection on the work ahead to ensure equity and dignity for #future LGBTQ+ generations. NHCOA was honored to be present with a #resource table where it shared key information on its programs and services for diverse #olderadults.
