Our Mission is to serve as a nonprofit organization with the goal of providing Camp KnoKoma a summer camping experience for children with diabetes in and around the state of West Virginia. Education The physicians nurses dietitians pharmacists and other medical support staff along with counselors many of which have diabetes themselves provide an invaluable opportunity for children with diabetes to gain skills in managing their disease within a supportive community. Adventure Camp KnoKoma provides all the summertime fun found in any typical summer camp such as swimming fishing dances tubing volleyball crafts nature studies talent shows and evening campfires. These all provide cherished memories for many years to come.
