ThreadED sells donated new and nearly new clothing and accessories to fund college scholarships ThreadED's mission is to help ease the burden of the cost of college while reducing our collective impact on the earth. The Massachusetts-based nonprofit works towards this goal through the resale of new and nearly new donated clothing and accessories, both online and in person.ThreadED's donations will focus on aspiring college students in need in the Greater Boston area. We are excited for ThreadED to be able to fund its inaugural donation this year. In June, ThreadED will present our partner uAspire, a Boston nonprofit, with a two-year gift to support the organization's Last Dollar Scholarship. This specific program helps students meet that final, challenging gap between their financial aid package and their cost of attending college in the coming year. UAspire is a Boston-based national nonprofit that has been providing one-on-one college affordability counseling to disadvantaged students for more than thirty years.
