Through community awareness, education, public policy, and cruelty intervention, Bastrop Animal Rescue, Inc. works cooperatively with the Bastrop County Animal Shelter and other organizations to promote pet responsibility, including the importance of spaying and neutering animals.. Funds raised by Bastrop Animal Rescue, Inc. are applied to efforts which assist the medical needs of shelter animals, decrease pet overpopulation, and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
