Victims of Crime and Leniency (VOCAL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which was established in 1982. VOCAL is an advocacy group for victims’ rights. ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME. IN 1982 A GROUP OF CITIZENS BEGAN A GRASS ROOTS EFFORT TO ORGANIZE VICTIMS OF CRIME INTO AN ORGANIZATION THAT COULD PROVIDE VICTIMS ASSISTANCE.
