Meet our sign queen, Becky! 👑 Becky is the mastermind behind The Lift Garage’s punny sign on Lake Street, but her hard work doesn’t end there. As our finance and administration director, Becky manages our budget, financial reporting and forecasting, and IT! She also does all of this while being an awesome mom to her young child—something she credits to The Lift’s commitment to work-life balance. She’s also known around the shop for her infectious laugh, can-do attitude, and generous spirit! "A few years ago, I started running a free mutual aid project out of my home, the 'Rad Mini Library.' As a part of that project, I share fresh produce with neighbors on a weekly basis from May to October. The produce comes from a local farmers CSA share and my backyard garden. In times like these, it's more important than ever to take care of people in our community. I love that The Lift promotes self-determination and autonomy for folks through low-cost car repair. Being a part of this team makes me feel like I live out my values, and I love being able to demonstrate that for my child." (fb)
