From the Hilltop to the World! 🗺️ Four WKU students were awarded the Freeman Award for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA), with another two named alternates and an additional student was awarded a Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grant. 🔴 Veronica Butler earned a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in Taiwan 🔴 Sarah Gamble earned a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in Taiwan 🔴 Deborah Ishimwe earned a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in Taiwan 🔴 Kyle Mallernee was named an alternate for a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in Japan 🔴 Oo Meh earned a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in South Korea 🔴 Pah Meh was named an alternate for a Freeman-ASIA scholarship to study in South Korea 🔴 Zoe Avery earned a Phi Kappa Phi grant to study in Tanzania All students worked with the WKU Office of Scholar Development to prepare competitive applications.
