π«π· π¬π§ Village Exchange International :Village Exchange France, Village Exchange Ghana + Lady Volta Green Tech Academy (LVGTA) Created in 2003, Village Exchange International has been working in Ghana implementing development projects aimed at improving the livelihood of disadvantaged women through education, training in technical professions (Electricity, Renewable Energies, ICT) and reproductive, sexual and maternal health programs. What Men can do, Women can do! We are strong believers in bottom-up development and empowerment. We hope to understand local needs as expressed by the communities themselves, and then give them the means to meet those using local resources, skills and ideas. Through research projects and support to the local NGO Village Exchange Ghana, VEI wishes to help local government agencies, communities, and most of all women, to understand their rights, and take their future in their hands.
