APCA was established to sponsor/promote activities in Indian classical music, art and theater amongst the mainstream American public. APCA also underwrites such events held by Smithsonian's Freer and Sackler Gallery and other similar institutions and which are free to the general public. programs: APCA provides support to the local artists, which are engaged in classical Indian music, dance and theater. APCA also supports the artists visiting from India. In general, APCA provides support to other 501(c)(3) organizations, which are engaged in similar activities.
