THE GEORGIA GUARD INSURANCE TRUST WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE GROUP LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR MEMBERS AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE GEORGIA NATIONAL GUARD. Any proceeds, after the costs of the insurance and administration of the insurance program, go directly back to the Georgia Guard members in thousands of dollars of educational scholarships each year and to support the Guard members through the activities of their Associations (NGAGA and EANGGA).

The Georgia Guard Insurance Trust GGIT was formed on 1 October 1984 to offer group term life insurance to members of the Georgia National Guard their spouses and dependent children. The GGIT is a nonprofit organization. All of the money we make on the group life insurance program above expenses is allocated to promote meritorious and worthwhile activities of the Georgia National Guard such as scholarships for Guard Members spouses dependent children and grandchildren.
