Subreceipient with 21st Century Learning Program for VI Dept. of Education: Improve academic achievement in reading, math, & science; increase motivation to learn and dedication to the educational process; improve knowledge and application of visual and performing arts; improve physical fitness and healthy behaviors; enhance desires to pursue college and career; develop leadership skills using the Community Drumline as an avenue; develop an awareness of ethics, and improve parenting skills by hosting one-on-one parental conferences, increase parental involvement with regularly scheduled program activities, and encourage literacy among adult family members by selecting a program book of the month. 3. Prayer group meeting continued (active for over 7 years)
