Our mission’s simple, providing free life skills workshops and free food to our at risk, food insecure populations teaching nutrition, food security and improved health in homeless shelters, mental illness housing, adult and juvenile probation and parole and low income daycare’s and elementary schools. We also provide life skills workshops teaching anything from gardening, cooking, physical activity, nutrition and general life skills like anxiety control, balancing a bank account or even economical grocery shopping. Access to food is increased in every neighborhood. We work in our poorest neighborhoods with all ethnicities building bridges. We’re giving these folks ownership of their health again. Then the fires came. We dug in to help.
