MICHIGAN JAYCEES WAS FORMED FOR SUCH EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY PROMOTE AND FOSTER INTELLIGENT PARTICIPATION BY YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE AFFAIRS OF THEIR COMMUNITY, STATE, AND NATION. IN DOING SO, MICHIGAN JAYCEES INCULCATES IN THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBER A SPIRIT OF GENUINE CIVIC INTEREST.
