Since 1957 MMCF members have volunteered their time and efforts to actively raise funds to provide services which improve the quality of life for people and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis. We partner with area hospitals providing treatment and therapy and a variety of organizations offering education in preventionearly identification respite care and diversions from treatment. Fundraising efforts have gone toward sending children to camp purchasing infusion chairs special scales more comfortable exam tables paying for transportation vouchers providing phone cards funding for wigs purchasing supplies for art therapy helping pay for additional needs not covered by insurance funding for videos books and games for children receiving treatment Fundraising activities have included Ad Book Auctions BINGO Bowling Bus Trips to shows and museums Crab Feasts Fashion shows Galas Mitzvah Cards see below for the cards offered Nearly New Sales Restaurant Give Back Nights Selling bracelets designed by cancer survivors Selling cookbooks httpssmile.
