The German Immersion Foundation believes in the value and benefits of a bilingual education. To this goal, the Foundation was created to enhance and support the programs of the Milwaukee German Immersion School and the Milwaukee School of Languages THE GIF AIMS TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN PARTICIPATING IN MILWAUKEE'S GERMAN LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAMS, BENEFIT FROM HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION, AND TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE LEVEL OF EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE THOSE SCHOOLS PROVIDE. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE THE MEANS TO SUPPLEMENT BOTH SCHOOLS' PROGRAMS TO GIVE THEIR STUDENTS A SOLID CULTURAL AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING.

The German Immersion Foundation received a nice thank you from the German class at Milwaukee School of Languages for our sponsorship of T-shirts for their recent trip to Germany. This epic class trip is one of the great perks to the unique, full, K-12 language program right here in MPS that begins at Milwaukee German Immersion School.
