The Secretariat Heritage Center The Secretariat Heritage Center Where The Legend and the Legacy Live On About Us The Secretariat Heritage Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Secretariats birthplace at The Meadow Event Park formerly known as Meadow Stable. It will strive to continue to tell the story of the legendary Triple Crown champion the family who owned him and the fabled farm that produced him. The SHC operates under the auspices of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation which owns The Meadow Event Park. PRESERVATION Our immediate goal is to preserve the original 1930sera barns that are on the National Register of Historic Places and Virginia Landmarks Register.
