The one-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio creates a powerful, supportive, transformative relationship that lasts long after Camp is over.

Camp Opportunity of Maryland provides an overnight summer camp experience for Maryland children ages 811 who have experienced abuse and neglect. The onetoone campertocounselor ratio and yearround programming are what make the Camp Opportunity experience so powerful. REAL CAMP LIFE The activities and classes at camp are designed to build selfesteem teach problem solving skills foster relationships with positive adult role models and improve the childrens ability to handle stress 1to1 RATIO Our 1to1 camper to counselor ratio is a core part of what makes Camp Opportunity so special.
