Soderville Blaine Athletic Association

The Soderville Blaine Athletic Association (SBAA) is a US nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth sports opportunities. It offers both in-house (recreational) and traveling (competitive) programs for youth baseball and fastpitch softball.

Organization Overview

SBAA serves children from multiple communities, including Ham Lake, Blaine, East Bethel, Oak Grove, St. Francis, Burns Township, Bethel, and portions of Andover, Coon Rapids, and Isanti. The organization also welcomes players from other communities under special circumstances that require prior discussion with SBAA.

History and Mission

Established over 50 years ago, SBAA aims to provide a rich youth sports experience. The association's board of directors is committed to maintaining its history while continually improving each year. SBAA supports both boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade, catering to a diverse range of ages and skill levels.

Programs Offered

  • In-House Baseball and Softball: SBAA provides recreational baseball and softball programs that focus on community involvement and skill development in a supportive environment.
  • Traveling Fastpitch Softball: For those seeking a more competitive challenge, SBAA offers traveling fastpitch softball teams. These teams compete at higher levels, promoting excellence and teamwork among participants.

Community Impact

The organization serves over 2,000 children annually, making it a significant contributor to youth sports in the region. By fostering a sense of community and promoting athletic development, SBAA plays a vital role in the local fabric of sports and recreation.
