Our Mission is to provide at least one nutritious meal each day to anyone in need and provide shelter for men. We offer resources to anyone who needs assistance The Mission of the Soup Kitchen is to provide one nutritious meal per day to the people of Frankfort who are in need of assistance. 365 days a year we provide meals for the public with no charge to them. The meals are prepared by volunteers from the community; church groups, local businesses, and family groups. The prepared foods are provided by donations from the community: however, some items are purchased by the Soup Kitchen. When we have extra food, we make it available for our clients to take home with them. The Soup Kitchen invites the Franklin County Health Department in monthly to provide needed vaccinations and general health information as well as infectious disease testing on a voluntary and anonymous basis.  We served over 50,000 meals in 2018. The Men’s Shelter provides nightly lodging, clothing, showers, counseling, toiletries, bus tickets, laundry facilities and 2 meals per day plus Soup Kitchen. Further, the shelter maintains 3 storage units in Frankfort containing household furnishing, appliances, cutlery, dishes, bedding that is given to men leaving the Shelter and moving into permanent living spaces.
