Many thanks to the National Parks Foundation, and all participating parks partners, for an inspiring #HillDay this week. We had the incredible opportunity to meet with the offices of Senators Alsobrooks and Van Hollen, as well as Reps. Ivey, Elfreth, Mfume, and Raskin on Capitol Hill. Together, we advocated for the America the Beautiful Act, which will free up critical infrastructure and maintenance funds for smaller parks like Piscataway Park. Collective partnerships like these help us to stand strong together to protect our nation’s most cherished landscapes. We are deeply grateful to our many partners as well as legislators and their dedicated staff for these engaging conversations – we look forward to continuing working together to ensure a thriving future for our public lands!
