Sonoma County Association of Retired Employees
The purpose for which this organization was formed is to promote and protect the welfare and interests of Sonoma County retired employees. We do this by providing information through quarterly newsletters, membership meetings, and through our website. We also advocate for retirees by working with Sonoma County Human Resources Benefits Unit, Sonoma County employees & unions, the Board of Supervisors, Sonoma County Employees Retirement Association (SCERA), and CRCEA.

Sonoma County Association of Retired Employees NEW on Site At our February 25th Membership Meeting we asked for member help in getting a COLA. Board members met with each member of the Board of Supervisors and the County CAO and provided them with information on why they needed to find a way to give a COLA and to revisit the SCARE settlement agreement which limits the County contribution for health insurance to 200 as of June 2026. The first 2 pages of document below shows what we covered in those conversations and includes information you can use in writing the Board of Supervisors. The third page shows a list of different things you can do to help in this fight for a COLA.
