Friends of Prairie Grove Pound
We are a group of volunteers dedicated to ensuring the welfare and safety of animals who come into the Prairie Grove Pound. We maintain the pound facility, pay for all vetting fees, return lost pets to their owners where that is appropriate and ensure unclaimed animals are rehomed into a safe and loving enviroment. We operate several programs in support of this mission including a monthly low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats and a trap neuter return program for feral and community cats. We maintain contact with several out of state recues, tranferring as much as 20% of unclaimed dogs to out of state loving homes. In an effort to provide some relief to the over population of dogs and cats in our area, we provide spay/neuter services for all animals rehomed thru our organization.
