Launching Careers and Changing Lives The American Aerospace Technical Academy (AATA) is a Los Angeles-based 501c3 nonprofit. AATA's mission is to bring high-quality basic and advanced NDT training to the industry at an affordable price; so everyone especially veterans, women, and BIPOC populations can take advantage of the professional vocational opportunities in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). NDT Testing is vital to public safety; applications include Aerospace, Transportation, Infrastructure and Gas, and Oil and Energy production. Non-destructive testing is a method of ensuring the structural integrity of a material without causing harm. AATA believes that by addressing inadequate STEM opportunities, one could empower youth and returning military veterans to fill the shortage of NDT professionals nationwide.
