Cox Monett, Cox Barton County hospitals named among nation’s cleanest! Cox Monett Hospital and Cox Barton County Hospital have been recognized among the cleanest hospitals in the nation by Becker’s Hospital Review, a leading national health care publication. The recognition underscores the dedication of the Environmental Services teams at both hospitals, which have maintained exceptional standards in infection control, sanitation and patient safety. This marks the second consecutive year both hospitals have received the honor. Becker’s compiled the list based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, focusing on hospitals that received a 5-star cleanliness rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The surveys were conducted between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The most recent data update was Jan. 8, 2025. In total, 374 hospitals across the country received a 5-star rating for cleanliness. (fb)
