🌍 Youth who resist, transform, and lead. Sigalho Chagas Majadire, a young engineer proudly born in Búzi district, decided to return to his homeland and make a difference. He gathered fellow graduates from various fields and founded the Búzi Young Farmers Association (AJAB) — an initiative that turns youth into drivers of self-employment and local development through agriculture. With support from the Triple Resilience (3R) program, led by the IFDC with funding from the Embassy of Sweden, AJAB received inputs, tools, and technical training to cultivate 4 hectares of maize, horticultural crops, and cowpea. 🌾 What was once a landscape of crisis now thrives as a powerful example of youth-led resilience and innovation. 💪 This is the youth that transforms.
