AFTV5 is a NGO founded in 12, under 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization's laws of The USA. AFTV5 creates local, national, and international content to impact. AFTV5 is a non-profit and non-partisan Community Television and Video Production Organization with a social focus. AFTV5 is committed to the value of community television, delivering alternatives to commercial broadcast televisions. We aim to provoke thought, create a positive impact in our communities, foster change and provide a voice for diversity and expression. Our goal is to be on the defining edge of news and information about Africa and the African people. As pioneers of change we want to bring awareness and broader coverage about the continent. We want to become the outlier source of such news over the long term and as we gain loyal viewers and referrals from satisfied followers, partners and sponsors we will continuously broaden our content and increase our viewership.
