Our primary purpose is to empower our students to develop the skills and knowledge to succeed as global citizens. Mission: Metro Deaf School, is a bilingual charter school, serving PK-12th grade in the Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin. Bilingual education is learning about general information through the use of two languages. They are equally valued, used, taught, and learned. At Metro Deaf School (MDS), all students are instructed in American Sign Language (ASL) and English is taught through print.
