AFCEA CENTRAL MARYLAND CHAPTER (CMD) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS. OUR CHAPTER SERVES THE MILITARY, GOVERNMENT, INDUSTRY, AND ACADEMIA AS AN ETHICAL FORUM FOR ADVANCING PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND RELATIONSHIPS. ALL FUNDS FROM THESE EVENTS SUPPORT OUR EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ENTERING THE ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR MATHEMATICS FIELDS.

Our Chapter focuses primarily on enabling the intelligence missions of today and tomorrow through education and investment in talented people. We accomplish our goal by promoting the continuing education of current IC and DoD professionals and supporting the education of future leaders in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics STEM. Each year proceeds from our corporate sponsors and Chapter events enable us to award over 200000 to qualified students and teachers through scholarships endowments and grants.
