THE MISSION OF THE FOUNTAINTOWN VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT IS TO PROVIDE FIRE, RESCUE AND BLS TRANSPORT PROTECTION SERVICES TO APPROXIMATELY 8,000 RESIDENTS IN A 55 SQUARE MILE AREA IN SHELBY AND HANCOCK COUNTIES OF CENTRAL INDIANA.
