We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines us or our future and every day we raise the expectations for blind people because we recognize the low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power determination and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people. As a proud division of the National Federation of the Blind we are a national membership and advocacy organization of families and friends of blind children.
