We’re proud to welcome Diana Quintero-Giraldo (she/her) to the Coffee Sustainability Fellowship! Growing up in a Colombian coffee-farming family, Diana is a passionate social innovator who has dedicated her career to sustainable development in healthcare and agriculture. Diana co-founded Bive, a social enterprise that has improved healthcare access for over 100,000 people in rural Colombia. Today, she’s an International Project Manager at Producers Direct, where she co-designs digital solutions with farming communities to strengthen smallholder farmers’ decision-making. When she’s not working, Diana finds joy in trekking, trail running, and traveling, exploring new cultures and challenging perspectives. (She’s currently training for her first trail race!) Diana was drawn to this fellowship because of the deep alignment she felt with TCC’s anti-top-down, community-led approach to sustainability. She’s excited to deepen her technical knowledge and gain a broader understanding of the coffee value chain. With a global perspective and a deep commitment to impact, Diana brings so much to this fellowship, and we’re very excited to learn alongside her. Welcome, Diana! #coffeesustainability #coffeefellowship #coffeecommunity #coffeepeople #sustainabledevelopment (fb)

We’re excited to welcome Alex Jacob @a1ex_jac0b (he/him) to our Coffee Sustainability Fellowship! Alex holds master’s degrees in both Public Health and Public Administration from Texas Tech University and an Arabica Q-Grader certification. His passion for coffee began as a hobby and developed into positions as a barista and roasting assistant during graduate school. It was a desire to combine his passions of community impact and coffee that led him to changing careers after graduation. Alex’s aspirations had him seeking out ways to better understand the coffee supply chain and eventually led to the launch of his own social impact-focused roastery and consulting company, @vitalcoffeeroasters When Alex isn’t working with coffee, you’ll likely find him hiking, camping, playing music, or picking up new hobbies. A lifelong learner, he was first introduced to The Chain Collaborative through a seminar and immediately connected with the fellowship’s mission of combining coffee, learning, and social impact. His goal is to deepen his understanding of the global coffee supply chain and learn how to create meaningful and lasting change in coffee communities worldwide. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes him! Welcome to the Fellowship, Alex! 🎉 #coffee #coffeefellowship #coffeepeople #coffeecommunity #specialtycoffee #coffeesustainability (fb)
