Global Opportunities for Christ
Global Opportunities for Christ was founded in 1996 to support effective, indigenous Christian ministries, primarily in poor and "unreached" countries, that are winning people to Christ, establishing churches, training workers, and assisting the poor and oppressed. In addition to supporting national missionaries, evangelists and church planters, we also help provide for specific projects, such as bicycles, motor scooters, four-wheel drive vehicles, computer equipment and meeting places that will promote the spread of the gospel. We also invest in specific self-help projects and micro-business enterprises that will help lead ministries in the direction of self-sufficiency. In addition, we sponsor short-term training conferences for leadership development as well as provide training materials, including Bibles, spiritual books, tapes, CD's/DVD's, and videos that will equip Christians overseas for more effective ministry.
