Beaux Arts is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to encourage an understanding and appreciatio BEAUX ARTS IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE AN UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA. ALL PROCEEDS FROM BEAUX ARTS GO TO SERVE THIS PURPOSE. THIS INCLUDES OFFERING OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY, SUCH AS HANDS ON! AND THE STUDENT ARTIST SHOWCASE, WHERE CHILDREN HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT ART AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ARTISTIC PROCESS. BEAUX ARTS ALSO SPONSORS A FESTIVAL OF ART EVERY YEAR AT NO COST TO THE PATRONS. FINALLY, BEAUX ARTS PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE LOWE ART MUSEUM BY ASSISTING WITH IMPORTANT ART ACQUISITIONS, CONTRIBUTING TO THE MUSEUM'S ONGOING OPERATION, AND BY ENHANCING ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND OUTREACH.

Beaux Arts Item added to your cart Our Mission Founded in 1952 Beaux Arts is a 100 femalerun volunteer nonprofit whose mission is to encourage an understanding and appreciation of the arts in South Florida and support the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami. Since our founding Beaux Arts has raised over 8 million dollars for the Lowe which places the organization in the highest donor category for the University of Miami The Gables Society and beginning In 2021 our funding has made admission to the museum free for all. Our organization is comprised of 90 Active Members and 400 Associate Members who are community leaders in South Miami. These dedicated volunteers lead and run our key outreach efforts which are focused on art education appreciation and access in our community.
