Young Musicians Unite Transforming Lives Communities Through Music Our Mission Young Musicians Unite believes that every child deserves access to music education regardless of their socioeconomic background. We collaborate with schools to provide free music education which has been proven to inspire personal development foster a sense of community and prepare our future leaders. How It All Began YMU started with the band program at Young Mens Preparatory Academy where students and teachers came together to make music accessible to all. With a shared love for music they worked towards creating a movement that would positively impact young musicians.
