Our mission is to improve the mental, spiritual, and physical well-being of the isolated elderly thro The ElderReach mission is to serve the isolated elderly and their caregivers by offering an alternative to commercial TV, which is often inappropriate and even distressing. We produce original, high-quality video programs that are entertaining, enriching, and encouraging. Our shows are available free online and on DVD. TV and the internet have the potential to connect with people who might otherwise spend long, lonely hours in the isolation that can come with aging, but most of the available programs are too fast-paced, violent, sensational, or alarming for elderly viewers. This is especially true for those with mild to moderate dementia, who may confuse the house fire shown on a news program with what is happening just outside their room, or become anxious over the helpless woman who has “fallen and can't get up." ElderReach is working to change that. Our shows feature a friendly, easy-going host; guests who stop by for conversation; sing-alongs; gentle movement/exercise; and beautiful nature imagery. Our content is research-based, focus-group tested, slowly paced, and commercial-free.Our shows can be enjoyed by elders living at home or with relatives, and those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Also, our programs can be used by recreation staff and home healthcare professionals as a way to connect and interact with their residents and clients.

As we approach Easter, we thought you might like to know that ElderReach now has over 50 FREE, non-denominational videos available for you and your loved ones. These videos are produced specifically for the elderly. Our host, Pam Hurt, always speaks slowly and deliberately, shares messages of love and encouragement, and talks directly into the camera.
