THE 5:14 INITIATIVE SEEKS TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL PATHWAYS FOR PEOPLE TO GIVE THEIR RESOURCES OF TIME AND FINANCES TO THOSE WITH LITTLE HOPE. 5:14 COMES FROM A VERSE IN THE CHRISTIAN SCRIPTURES THAT SAYS: "EVERYTHING IN THE LAWS AND THE PROPHETS CAN BE SUMMED UP WITH ONE COMMAND: 'LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'" THEREFORE, WE SEEK TO ANSWER THE QUESTION: "WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR?" OUR JOURNEY HAS LED US TO FOCUS ON ORPHAN AND REFUGEE CARE. THE 5:14 INITIATIVE NETWORKS WITH OTHERS TO BRING ADVOCACY TO THOSE WHO HAVE NO VOICE AND THEREBY BRINGING LOVE AND HOPE TO OUR NEIGHBOR.
