The Foundation?s mission is ?to promote the welfare of children living in foster care? in Hennepin County. The Foundation?s various programs encourage foster children to: (a) develop their talents and special interests, and discover a passion for learning; (b) connect with their cultural and ethnic heritage; (c) increase their confidence and self-esteem; and (d) envision a future that is not defined or limited by their status as foster children.
