The mission of this charitable corporation is to stimulate the economy of the economically distressed community of Oakland, Oregon and surrounding areas. The mission will be accomplished by conducting activities that enhance the business climate for the existing business community, encourage the establishment of new businesses that are compatable with Oakland's historic character, and imporve the livability of Oakland's commercial and residential historic districts.
