On behalf of the more than 11000 members of the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution FSSDAR I welcome you to our Florida State Society DAR website. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution NSDAR or DAR is a nonprofit nonpolitical volunteer womens service organization that was founded in 1890. Eligibility for joining is proof of direct bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided the Americans during the American Revolutionary War.
