Chapin American Legion Post 193 Chapin American Legion Post 193 Upcoming Events Since our Charter in 1998 Chapin American Legion Post 193 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Chapin American Legion Post 193 was established in 1998 and received a Temporary Charter with a roster of 19 Veterans. The Full Charter was presented in February 2000 with Charter membership of 70 Veterans. Initially Post meetings were held at Crooked Creek Park and in 2011 the Post moved into the Old Lexington County Fire Department where we continue to meet.
