HwH’s mission is to provide educational projects in the Visual and Performing Arts Heal with HeARTS mission is to provide educational projects in the Visual and Performing Arts to children with difficult economic, social, and physical circumstances. Heal with HeARTS is a program to immerse students in an integrated Visual and Performing Arts Program. Students will create artwork, learn to perform dance and music, and finish with a performance in the community. The National Visual Arts, Music, and Dance Standards and Howard Gardner's 8 types of Intelligence are the foundation for planning projects with children in the community. The objectives and skills taught will promote creative collaboration in the Visual and Performing Arts. Students will work together problem-solving, strengthening leadership skills, creating artwork, music, and performing in the community.
