#freedomride Welcome to the rescue Liberty and Moose! They arrived over the weekend and are so happy to begin their new lives! 🐾Liberty, the black and white dog, lived in not so great circumstances and her owner found himself in the clink. As she was roaming the streets foraging for food, Liberty was shot and left unattended with her injury until her owner was released. They took her to the vet but her leg could not be saved. Her owner surrendered her to the vet office who reached out to us for help. Liberty has some pent-up energy from being kenneled at the vet for so long but she is happy and and doing well in her foster home. She is learning manners and how to be a well behaved dog in and out of the house. 🐾Moose was found tied to a pole by an animal control officer in a small, rural community. He is beyond sweet and a very sensitive pup! His foster dad was not feeling well the other day and Moose made sure to give him extra snuggles and puppy kisses.
