TMWC exists to offer hope and encouragement through the power of peer support to those who live with mental illness. TMWC staff have a deep understanding of what members are going through and provide emotional support, education, and advocacy. To improve the quality of life for persons living with mental illness by offering hope and peer-driven programs that address recovery through education, advocacy, and peer support.

Thomas M. Wernert Center

The Thomas M. Wernert Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness. Located in Lucas County, Ohio, it provides a safe and welcoming community for adults living with mental illness and other life challenges.

Mission

The center's mission is to offer hope and encouragement through peer support, enabling individuals to improve their quality of life, give back to their communities, and challenge negative perceptions of mental health. It fosters a community based on mutual sharing of lived experiences and success stories, which help build confidence and enhance daily life.

Services and Activities

Financial Status

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Thomas M. Wernert Center relies on donations to continue providing essential services and support to its members. Contributions are fully deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
