A Toast to Kathie, If you have ever talked with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone while trying to help your child with a grant from Lori’s Voice, it may have been Kathie! Kathie has headed up our ART (application review team) for many years. She is the friendly voice that answers your call. Kathie is not only a volunteer, but a wonderful leader of Lori’s Voice. If ever you need a good laugh, Kathie will be there for you! If you get stuck in a mail merge, Kathie is your go-to-girl. Her work as a volunteer with Lori’s Voice has touched so many lives. The difference she has made for our LV families is priceless. For those of you that don’t know, Kathie has been battling cancer, please keep her and her family in your prayers. Even in the face of life’s greatest challenges, Kathie’s strength and grace shine through. Her courage reminds us to live every moment with purpose and dignity!
